Jesus Freaks The Movie

Based on a true story in 1972, on a college campus during the Jesus Revolution, a  hippy and a cheerleader fall in love. They enter a new world of spiritual awareness, supernatural encounters and theological conflict as they receive the Baptism of the Holy Spirit which is opposed by establishment churches. The last scene, which takes place in the near future, puts a face on the continued persecution of the church and prophesied tribulation after the rapture.

“We LOVED the movie!  There were several parking lot discussions on the impact that Nina had on multiple generations of believers. There was a powerful emphasis of the stormtrooper ending and the sleepy state of today’s church and eroding culture…. Awesome message!”. Joe S.

The Making of Jesus Freaks

Jesus Freaks was filmed in Florida and Culpeper and Rappahannock counties in Virginia. Many churches opened their doors to the production and blessed us in so many ways. Producer Dominic Giannetti brought his incredible team up from Florida and teamed up with the crew from Renaissance Women Productions, based in Virginia to film this amazing story. For 2 short but busy weeks they setup sets, filmed and fell in love with Central Virginia.  The exceptional cast, crew and extras, mostly all from the area pulled together to make it happen.
